In a society where theft is so rampant that all the houses are walled off and windows barred, gaining access to people where they are can prove challenging. Nothing can replace witnessing “gate to gate” as we do here, but God has given us a wonderful opportunity to penetrate the barriers and reach into the homes, cars, and workplaces of thousands and even millions of Argentines in Southern Buenos Aires.
The opportunity is Radio Victoria. Before leaving Argentina to train missionaries in the US, missionary Jeff Bush began a partnership with Lighthouse Baptist Church in La Plata, Argentina, Christian Radio International out of Hammond, Indiana, and Rodolfo- a Christian business man with connections in Argentine radio. As the sole US missionary in Southern Buenos Aires, God has given me both a great privilege and great responsibility to help carry on the work. The project has gone through ups and downs but remains an exciting opportunity to help evangelize unbelievers and edify the young churches in this part of the city. The vast majority of Argentines listen to the radio every day. Those who tune in to the radio listen for an average of three hours per day. With the right equipment, we could broadcast to a 30 mile radius from the tower site. In that radius, there are currently over 5 million people and the numbers will only grow as this part of the city continues to expand. Thousands upon thousands of souls could be reached with Gospel. The handful of young, doctrinally sound churches in the area could be strengthened by driving people to the services of the churches. It could be used as a tremendous tool to bring God glory and help the church planting efforts in this city. When we attempt to do something for Christ, there are always challenges. It is better to face those challenges together as co-laborers in Christ. When we share the burdens we also get to share the blessings. Hear are some ways you could participate: 1. Make the Radio Ministry in Argentina a matter of regular prayer. ♦ for time sensitive paper work to change the radio licenses into the name of the church— due by March 6th ♦ for the spiritual strength and testimony of the workers and leaders in this project 2. Communicate with me or George Zarris (the director of CRI with the technical radio knowledge) about how you could help with equipment you may have that could be brought to Argentina to benefit the project. (computers, microphones, consoles, or specific radio equipment etc.) 3. Consider giving a financial gift to help the project. If you have any questions about the Radio Ministry in Argentina, I invite you to contact

we are praying for the radio project in La Plata. I was blessed to have traveled with Bro Zarris on his first trip there. Our ministry specializes in radio overseas for Independent Baptist Missionaries. Be sure and let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
